Meet the Team
Mark serves as lead brand strategist and plays an integral role in all aspects of marketing strategies, creative and execution. A principal of TK Orlando, LLC. (TKO), he oversees all aspects of creative and nancial endeavors of the company and with his partner, Ginger Kane, de ning brand positioning and creative strategies for all clients. During his 36-year career, Mark has served as a creative resource and marketing consultant to many diverse clients representing industries, including: Commercial Real Estate, Government, Sports Marketing, Industrial, Retail, Food Service and Hospitality. He has always been active in community service.
Currently, Mark sits on the Board of Trustees, serving as Immediate Past President for The Albin Polasek Museum and Sculpture Gardens in Winter Park. He is a past president of the Downtown Orlando Partnership and also sits on the Central Florida board of community advisors for Devereux and Valencia College. Mark is a fth generation Orlandoan, and if asked about that, Mark will typically say, “I come from a long line of busy people.”
Mark is a graduate of Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee and has resided in Downtown Orlando with his wife Jane for over 30 years and has two grown children, George and Jillian.
Ginger is the client liaison for the agency, handling all day-to-day interactions. She is also a key member of the team, building brand and marketing strategies.
A principal of TKO, Ginger currently serves as president. She joined TKO in 1992 after stints as Communication and Public Relations Director for the World League’s Orlando Thunder and the USFL’s Orlando Renegades professional football teams - as close as she ever got to her goal of being a sports reporter (feeding the news was more fun than digging for it!). She has a strong writing background, which is employed periodically. But having walked in the clients’ shoes, so to speak, she remains the main point of contact for all client business.
Ginger is an enthusiastic marketing/advertising professional with 20+ years experience in brand development, messaging and creative concepting. Broad comprehension of marketing strategy and application. Oversaw the development of complete corporate identity packages that included brand development, message platforms, brochures, annual reports, fliers, packaging, flash animations, web and multifaceted campaigns. Proven ability to convey client’s image and message generating positive business results.
Matt leads the TKO Creative Team, providing art and creative direction for staff artists, web designers and freelancers. He oversees most major marketing and branding initiatives for the agency and is instrumental in developing content, creative treatments and assists with messaging and ideation sessions. A seasoned designer with photography skills, Matt has over 30 years’ experience in developing integrated branding, marketing and way nding projects for numerous municipalities and corporate, retail, hospitality and tourism clients including Parkway, Inc., CNL, Marilyn Monroe Spas, Planet Hollywood, Kissimmee-St. Cloud Convention & Visitors Bureau, and the cities of Charlotte, NC, Historic Downtown Kissimmee, FL and Tampa, FL (Ybor City).
Creative Operations Manager
Rachel Gardiner has worked – and lived – graphic design, web design and print production for over 35 years. With her wife and creative partner, Nicki Drumb, she enthusiastically accepts challenges to accomplish projects that “can’t be done.” Rachel has worked her magic with a vast array of clients, including: Albertsons, Disney Design Group, GayDays, Inc., Orlando Utilities Commission. Rachel brings this innovative spirit and solution- nding ability to TKO as our Creative Operations Manager, shepherding our creative team’s greatest work to ensure excellent, highest-quality nished products for our clients.
Mary is a designer and website developer with over 18 years’ experience in the marketing and advertising industries. During this time she has worn many hats (and titles!) including illustrator, paste-up graphic designer, art director, IT wrangler (unof cial designation), and print production manager to her most recent role, interactive developer. Her current and past clients include Charter Communications, Parkway Properties, Trustreet, National Retail Properties, Marilyn Monroe Spas, BayState Savings Bank, NuView IRA, Ninth Circuit Court Public Defender, Orlando Clinical Research Center, Worcester State College, and many more. She is a self-taught web developer, and has found her niche designing, developing and maintaining WordPress sites. She is active in the local Orlando WordPress community, serving on the local committee for WordCamp Orlando.
Jonathan is a graduate from the University of Central Florida’s School of Visual Art and Design specializing in Web Development. He has over 10 years experience in Digital Media and Web Development. He began his career in Digital Media designing branding, website layouts and content structure but soon realized his passion was in code. Jonathan brings to the team the eagerness to explore trending web technologies, utilizing their capabilities to create robust user experiences. He has produced for Disney, Universal Studios, Enterprise Rent A Car, Hertz Rental Car, and Hyatt, just to name a few. In his free time, Jonathan gives back to his community by offering photography and design services to charitable organizations in need.
Senior Art Director
Thiany is a polished graphic designer & senior art director with an eye for excellence in design and pixel perfection. Thiany has worked with the gamut of clients for over 26 years (Parkway Properties, Marilyn Monroe Spas, CNL Financial Group, CB Richard Ellis Realty Trust, Turner Construction Company, Arnold Palmer Anutra, to name a few) and although her skill set is vast, her greatest expertise revolves in the worlds of brand identity design, design principles, photography, color and print collateral. Thiany’s knowledge and experience in these areas allows TKO to deliver consistent high-quality creative to our clients and their audiences. Originally from Venezuela, Thiany brings an extra skill to offer our clients with fluency in Spanish language and culture.
Nicki is an Addy Award-winning graphic designer with 25 impressive years of comprehensive advertising, branding, promotional campaign and copywriting experience in the business sector at Walt Disney World, Bonnier Corporation, and other multi-million dollar companies. Former co-owner of Access Publishing based in Downtown Orlando, her enthusiasm for connecting live, work and play in DTO has formed deep roots here for a quarter of a century. She takes personal pride in the successful design, promotion and community events she’s created including her most recent and highly-praised brainchild, “Art Is Moving” – SunRail’s roving art gallery, “The Human Heart: An Outright Love-in,” Downtown Orlando’s Access Lunch & Learn series, and as a board member of the GLBT History Center. In addition, Nicki has enjoyed working on local government initiatives including Volusia County’s annual Earth Day events. With an eye for innovation and bigger-picture communications and promotional goals, Nicki has a strong commitment to best practices and better ideas. Whether in of cial TKO business or volunteering after hours, Nicki enjoys creative collaboration with her wife, TKO’s Creative Operations Manager, Rachel Gardiner.
